Exploring Munich, Nuremberg & Black Forest Suspension Bridge

In this week’s vlog we head to Munich, Nuremberg and start our time in the Black Forest on a high, literally!! With a trip to the Wildline Suspension Bridge!

Munich is the capital city of Germany's state of Bavaria, it is the largest city in this region, and Nuremberg is the second largest. Bavaria is the largest state in Germany by land area.
Bavaria is known for it's fairy-tale cities, castles and stunning national parks, a part of the country that we highly recommend if you are considering van life Germany.

Both cities were absolutely beautiful and we highly recommend a trip to both, especially Nuremberg which we just loved so much. With the timber framed buildings and the stunning architecture it looks like something straight out of a fairy tale.

Nuremberg is also steeped with history and played a major part in Nazi-era Germany, as this was where the Nazi party held their rallies and is also where the Nuremberg trials were held. There is lots and lots of history surrounding what is now a fantastic city to visit.

After spending time in Munich and Nuremberg we made our way to the Black Forest. The Black Forest is known for its dense, evergreen forests and picturesque villages, it is often associated with the Brothers Grimm fairy tales. It is 6000km2 so it is absolutely huge!

We started off our time here with a trip to the Wildline Suspension Bridge. This is a suspension bridge running 380 meters over the black forest. It is certainly not one for people who do not like heights!!
