Hand Forged Siberian Axe By Anton Salikov/ Review & Testing

In this video, I will be reviewing a Siberian style axe made by Anton Salnikov. The typical form is a long beard to maintain a full size cutting edge. While the rest of the head is slimmed down to minimize weight. Otherwise, the form is fairly loose since these are typically village blacksmith made.

Anton Salniov is keeping the traditions alive by making traditional Siberian tools using the same classic methods. Essentially a small forge and hand tools.
