James Herriot Statue unveiling - Jim Wight's speech

Jim Wight and Rosie Page, son and daughter of Alf Wight the author of All Creatures Great and Small reveals the new bronze statue of their father. James Herriot was the author's pseudonym and the new statue will be placed in the gardens of the World of James Herriot in Thirsk which is located in the original home and surgery of the World's most famous vet. A new Legacy Fund is launched at the same time as the statue in order provide burseries to help young people who wish to join the veterinary care industry.
