Violence in the run-up to Zambian election

Zambians head to the polls for their presidential and general elections today.

The presidential race between the incumbent Edgar Lungu and his main rival has been marred by weeks of violence.

On Wednesday night, police fired tear gas to break up the fighting between rival political supporters.
