How to Buy a Gun in New Jersey (NJ)

This video discusses the process for buying a firearm (rifle, shotgun, handgun, etc.) in New Jersey. The step by step process is below:
1) Get your local Police Department/ Municipality ORI# (I misspoke in the video and said SBI instead of ORI) (You can call and ask them for this).
2) Go to www.njportal.com/njsp/fars and apply for your FID & Handgun permit
3) Make sure you submit your application with two references and notify them of your application so they submit their forms.
4) Once applied set up your finger printing appointment and complete your appointment.
5) Wait.... for the police department to call you and advise you to pickup your FID & handgun permit.
6) Proceed to your local FFL to purchase a handgun/rifle/shotgun/etc. and submitted to the NICS background check system.
