सुप्रीम कोर्ट में जब देश के सबसे संवेदनशील कानून पर सुनवाई चल रही हो, और उसी दौरान मुख्य न्यायाधीश की रिटायरमेंट की तारीख नजदीक हो—तो हर सवाल बड़ा हो जाता है। 13 मई को CJI संजीव खन्ना रिटायर हो रहे हैं, और ठीक उससे पहले पाँच मई को वक्फ संशोधन कानून पर अगली सुनवाई होने वाली है।
