Since I last filmed here in April 2017, new barriers have been installed, replacing old Godwin Warren Engineering (GWE) barriers that were here beforehand.
This crossing is quite unique as it is integrated with the traffic light junction. The traffic lights for the main road turn red before the crossing activates. There are four warning lights, four barriers and two alarms here, located on the branch line from Lymington to Brockenhurst.
