Making Sense of Supreme Court Voting Cases:Pennsylvania/Wisconsin/South Carolina AND Justice Barrett
The Supreme Court seems to be all over the map (literally and figuratively) on reviewing/refusing to review cases involving ballots that are received late. These issues and cases must be viewed against the backdrop of Trump's appointment of Postmaster General Louis DeJoy whose primary mission seems to be slowing mail delivery in advance of the upcoming election. Here's a look at the recent SCOTUS decision to decline to review the Pennsylvania Supreme Court decision to allow voting of ballots the are received up to three days after the election. Future videos will take on the Wisconsin and South Carolina cases. This video also tackles the issue of the impact of Justice Amy Coney Barrett's addition to the court and what it signals for the future need to increase the number of justices.
