How to Dodge an Burn using Luminar 4

In this video I have a look at the techniques for dodging and burning your images to get the desired results. The focus of the tutorial is not the final image here but the process involved to get there.

The techniques shown is just one way of getting the results and what you have got to remember is you are complimenting the light already in the scene and not 'creating' new light. Subtlety is the key when dodging and burning and learning the technique is invaluable for both black and white images.
Here I've focused on the black and white image but have an underlying image of colour. I did this just to show that there are very big differences when dodging and burning in colour and black and white.
Try the techniques for yourself and see what happens, if you like them use it in the future. But if not, well at least you have learned something that the software can do differently. All’s Good :)
