MOSFET DC Circuit Analysis

MOSFET circuits at DC: a full worked example.

The objective of this exercise is to design the transistor circuit, that is, choose suitable values for the resistors connected to the drain and source terminals, in order for the NMOS transistor to operate at a particular drain current and voltage.

We can solve part of the problem using just Ohm’s law and simple circuit analysis, but the remaining part needs knowledge of the operation mode of the transistor.
