This fight showed that skills and strategy are king in boxing since Canelo came into the ring with a 15 pound weight advantage and is over 10 years younger than Floyd Mayweather. Mayweather ended up winning the match even more one sided than most were anticipating. After this loss, Canelo went on to improve drastically as a boxer until he became the monster we know today.
