5 Reasons the Amazon Echo Auto is The WORST Smart Home gadget that Amazon have ever released. DO NOT PUT THIS IN YOUR CAR.

If you're thinking about buying the Amazon Echo Auto for Navigation or Spotify then it will probably work 8 times out of 10 but it will depend on whether you have a stereo that it works with. I have issues with the Echo auto when paired with my VW Golf factory fitted stereo when using my Motorola phone, but the Echo Auto works just fine if I use my Galaxy S10, or a different speaker! It's been badly implemented by Amazon and I've sadly gone back to the google assistant on my phone.

More importantly though you are going to get fed up with disconnecting and reconnecting cables to the degree that you will either leave it in your car on show to burglars, or you will simply give up carrying it around with you. If you're looking to add Alexa to your car then many Motorola phones come with Alexa built in these days and although the Echo auto has a better array microphone the other issues aren't worth living with.
