WrestleMania 42 moments that went unnoticed

Things you might have missed at WrestleMania 42.

First, Brock Lesnar looked emotional from the moment he made his entrance. And when he hit that F5 on Oba Femi, you could almost feel it, like Brock knew that was the last F5 of his career. Then after the match, he made that X hand signal toward Paul Heyman. Usually that sign means a real injury, but this time it felt different, like Brock was telling everyone this moment was real.

There was also a fun moment with John Cena, who was handed a beer off camera and casually chugged it.

Liv Morgan’s gear had a subtle tribute to The Riott Squad, the faction she debuted with in WWE, which longtime fans quickly noticed.

During Roman Reigns vs CM Punk, the cameras caught them talking. It looked like Roman asked, “last one?” and Punk replied, “probably not,” hinting he’s not done at WrestleMania yet.

Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes also recreated a dangerous moment from the past. It mirrored that 2009 spot where Mr. Kennedy hit a botched back suplex on Orton that could’ve seriously injured his neck, and Kennedy was released not long after.

And finally, you might’ve missed this small but powerful gesture… after the match, Oba Femi tipped an invisible hat toward Brock Lesnar, almost like a silent thank you for passing the torch and helping make him the next big thing in WWE.
