पुण्यातील वैष्णवी हगवणे यांचा मृत्यू दुर्दैवी आहे. याबाबत आमच्याकडे कोणतीही तक्रार नसताना स्वतः दखल घेऊन आम्ही याप्रकरणी कारवाई करण्याचे निर्देश पोलिसांना दिले आहेत. वैष्णवी हगवणे यांचे सासरे पक्षाचे पदाधिकारी नाहीत. वैष्णवी यांचे पती पक्षाचे सदस्य होते मात्र त्यांना आम्ही निलंबित केले आहे. याप्रकरणी आम्ही 19 मे रोजीच तक्रार दाखल केली असून आयोगाचे काम आम्ही प्रामाणिकपणे करत आहोत. त्यामुळे याबाबत कोणी टीका केली तर त्याकडे आम्ही लक्ष देत नाही. जे लोक टीका करतात त्यांच्या कार्यालयातील महिलेला न्याय मिळत नाही असा उपयोजित टोला लगावत राज्य महिला आयोगाचे अध्यक्ष रूपालीताई चाकणकर यांनी रोहिणी खडसे यांना जोरदार प्रतिउत्तर दिले आहे.
