A sunny summer Sunday at London's Luton Airport. With the summer rush in full swing with holidaymakers coming to & from Europe this was the busiest I've seen Luton for a while. At one point, not long after I'd arrived a queue of 7 aircraft waiting to depart but a steady stream of arriving traffic as well meant a fairly long wait for some. The purpose of my visit was to catch the National Geographic liveried Boeing 757, operated by Icelandair. The jet had been on a tour around Africa for several weeks, stopping in locations including Luxor, Zanzibar, Madagascar, Cape Town, Ghana, Uganda and more. This flight was seen arriving from its last stop in Africa, Marrakesh. It stayed in Luton for just over an hour before heading back to Icelandair's base in Keflavik.
Lots of private jets to look out for as well as Lutons more regular visitors with the likes of Wizz Air, EasyJet & Ryanair. I tried to include flight information on screen where possible. Bare in mind a lot of the private jets don't have public information displayed on FlightRadar app and I did miss a few of the passenger movements as well. But most do have information displayed.
