In this video, Clayton and Jack unpacks the concept about Insecurity versus Intuition.

This video was inspired from the question that came up from a woman who had been in a relationship and she was at this place where she was wondering whether she should open or not.
What she was faced was if she should open-up to a guy or not.

This is a very common problem. This is about how much can I trust certain things in your life?

People who have the best intuition are the ones who most likely don’t listen to them.

This is a permission to learn how to trust yourself in a deeper context. And what does that take?

How do you know if it's INTUITION or INSECURITY?

Learning how to quiet the mind enough to distinguish intuition from insecurity is the challenge. You get a schematic response to a mental anticipation. And you slow it down enough and you notice the inception, you notice the starting point of something. Your intuition. Often the mind will then get in the way of this simple intuition.

There's this very quick mental interference. Part of what we're talking about is how to not interfere with your own process too much so that you can just read it more clearly.
Intuition is a gut thing.

It's a bodily thing. It's not typically a mental thing. Maybe your heart also knows some things to be true, but we would particularly encourage you to pay attention to your body. And intuition tends to have a slower maybe just a little bit more opening quality rather than kind of a contracting and fearful quality. This is an important discernment.

Your intuition is almost like your gut knowing. Your body is picking up these different stimuli and algorithms and it's forming into a feeling. Just like the dog just knows who to trust.

Doubt Versus Curiosity

Doubt is likely to be in the head and it tends to have a closing contracting quality. We think it’s just being smart but being able to distinguish doubt from curiosity is that curiosity has this kind of opening quality to it.
