We often hear that the world is crowded, or that we're running out of space for people. That isn't necessarily true, because many of the places, buildings, and even whole cities that used to be occupied by people are now abandoned and could be knocked down and repurposed. We'd be sad if that happened, though, because we'd lose some interesting and beautiful places that have been forgotten through the passing of time. To prove our point, here are some of our favorites!
