Quick Fingerprint Logo Tutorial - Adobe Illustrator

This tutorial will show you how to quickly make a fingerprint logo without the use of polar grids, as they're used in other tutorials. You'll also learn how to use the Action window, which is one of Illustrators most useful but unknown tools.

The design should take you about 3 minutes to complete.

The tutorial is made in Adobe Illustrator CS5 but can applied to any vector program such as Illustrator CS6/CC or Inkscape (there is a polar grid tutorial for Inkscape by Nick Saporito).
In this tutorial you will use the:

- Action window
- Pen tool
- Gradients
- Divide/Pathfinder tools
- Expand shapes
- Add anchor points
