Bell Vortex Flying Tiger Helmet Review

Aloha Everyone! The Bell Vortex has been a staple in the Bell collection for a few years, and continues to be a rock-star in the sub-$200 helmet category. Nestled between the base model, Bell Arrow and the refined Bell RS-1, the Vortex borrows many of the features found in the high end Bell collection. The Vortex is also one of the only helmets in its price category to carry the SNELL M2010 rating, making the Vortex a great option for the track day rider. Like many of the full face options from Bell, the Vortex can also take the exclusive Bell Transitions Photochromic face shield that darkens when exposed to sunlight. The intermediate oval fitting shape means it's a great fit for a wide range of folks.
