What's inside a camera lens? (Canon EF 80-200mm disassembly)

This lens was broken and full of haze. Fix it would be to much expensive so I bought a substitute and decide to discover what´s inside this one.

Apart some electronics and glass I found a that the front element of this lens work like a magnifying glass. I can use it with no macro lenses do shoot small objects.
