Causing a Smack-Up, Crack-Up

The plaintiff says she was driving on a parkway exit ramp when the defendant’s vehicle struck her car and another vehicle. She claims the defendant then jumped out of her car and began screaming at her. The plaintiff alleges the defendant later fabricated a story about not being behind the wheel at the time of the accident and has refused to pay for the damages. She is suing for compensation. The defendant says her car stalled on the exit ramp. She claims she got out, opened the hood, and the vehicle began rolling forward after she pulled on the spark plugs. She says she attempted to engage the emergency brake and warned others to move out of the way, but the collision occurred before she could stop the vehicle.
