Elderly Woman Strangled To Death Inside Her Home During Robbery Attempt In Karnal | Accused Arrested

A disturbing case has been reported from Karnal, Haryana, where an elderly woman was allegedly strangled to death inside her own home during a robbery attempt. The accused, identified as school van driver Krishankant, reportedly entered the house of a scientist’s family at the Central Soil Salinity Research Institute residential complex and attempted to snatch the woman’s chain.

According to reports, when the woman resisted, the accused allegedly covered her mouth with a cloth, assaulted her, and strangled her. The incident was captured on camera, and visuals related to the case later went viral on social media.

Neighbours reportedly heard the woman’s screams, managed to catch the accused, and immediately informed the police. A case has been registered, and the accused is currently in police custody while investigation continues.

No human being should feel unsafe inside their own home. A place meant to provide safety and peace has become the site of horrific crimes for many families.
