India has many helicopter on skyscrapers Mukesh ambani has Helipads on Antilia Skyscraper , many skyscraper in mumbai have helipads however they are not being used

similarly police dont use helicopters so why does this happen

Delhi Traffic Police are getting some by the end of year. Also, the maintenance and keeping up costs of these airborne units are high. And these would have to be taxed onto the urban dwellers or state government who are severely under funded.

Also when our police forces are using 1st World War .303 rifles, we need to set our priorities straight. Metropolitan police forces of Delhi, Bombay or Bangalore could do that. Also you don't have those high adrenaline road chases in India. Traffic is a blessing in disguise here. There's no need for eyes in the air. You already have UAVs for the purpose which are cheaper and low cost on maintenance. Also Indian building standards are not viable for police patrol and inception during emergency situations.
