CARL WEATHERS (aka APOLLO CREED) speaks at Fan Expo Philly (April 8, 2022)

Carl Weathers speaks at Fan Expo Philly on Friday, 4/8/22 at the Convention Center in Center City Philadelphia! My two sons and my Dad and I had the great honor of meeting Mr. Weathers that day. We are huge "ROCKY" fans and will always love the character of Apollo Creed!

Mr. Weathers gave a fantastic speech at a panel called, "NO REMATCH: Carl Weathers Spotlight." Sadly, this would be Mr. Weathers' last visit to the city of Philadelphia, as he passed away about two years later in February 2024.

Carl spoke about his time as Apollo Creed in the Rocky movies, as well as many of his other roles such as Colonel Al Dillon in Predator, Action Jackson, Derick Chubbs Peterson in Happy Gilmore, and Combat Carl in Toy Story 4.
