What You Need First
To open a Groww Demat account, you must be:

Have valid PAN & Aadhaar details for KYC.
Common documents you will need:
PAN card
Aadhaar card

Step-by-Step: Open a Groww Demat Account
Download the Groww app from the Play Store / App Store or visit groww. in.
Sign in / Sign up with your mobile number and verify with OTP.
Go to the Stocks / Demat account section in the app and select Open Demat Account.
Enter your PAN number and personal details (name, DOB, address).
Complete Aadhaar e-KYC by entering your Aadhaar number and verifying via OTP sent to your Aadhaar-linked phone.
Upload scans/photos of your PAN, address proof, bank proof, and a selfie (for identity verification).
Link your bank account by entering your account number and IFSC, and upload a cancelled cheque or statement.
e-Sign digitally using Aadhaar OTP to submit your application.
After verification by Groww, your Demat account will be activated within a few days.
