This week on The Valley, Season 3, Episode 2, Part 2, Kristen and Nia are deep in the postpartum trenches while the men keep showing up with the emotional sensitivity of a parking ticket. Janet is still fumbling her apology tour, Nia is ending people with silence alone, and Jesse Lally is positively glowing over Lacy like he just got accepted into the tax bracket of his dreams. He doesn’t just like her — he likes what she represents: Newport Coast money, polished ease, and the kind of lifestyle he would absolutely marry (and wear if she let him). If he can’t actually be the rich girl, fine, he’ll settle for being her boyfriend and standing close to the glow.

Basically, this episode had everything: sexual pressure, silent warfare, vasectomy stand-up, and Jesse eyeing Newport Coast like it’s the promised land.
