Games to Help Baby Develop Balance by Age #shorts
Our sense of balance, also referred to as the vestibular sense, is important for engaging in activities, and helps us walk and run and stay upright while sitting and standing. This sense develops over time. Some examples include holding up the head, learning to walk, or sliding down a slide. It helps with moving smoothly while walking up and down stairs or riding a bike, and maintaining balance when riding in a moving vehicle or rocking back and forth. Here are some fun ways to help babies develop this sense from 0 to 18 months. 📹 More on understanding the vestibular (balance) sense: https://youtu.be/uSp88t1igAo • 📹 Learn more about how all 8 of our senses develop: https://youtu.be/N8rYUcKPqjs
