Canadian MPs return to Ottawa to debate in new House of Commons

Canadian MPs returned to Ottawa on Monday to sit once more, this time in a new location as the House of Commons has been moved to the West Block as Parliament Hill's Centre Block, the traditional home of the House, undergoes renovations for several years.

The Opposition asked Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his government questions on a wide range of topics for the first time since going on winter break, including the departure of Canada's ambassador to China John McCallum over comments on the extradition case of a Huawei executive.
