Why Meshes of the Afternoon (1943) is One of My Favorite Experimental Films

Last year I talked about an experimental film called Wavelength (1967), a 40 minute shot of a wall with an awful continuous shrieking sound. Possibly the worst movie I've ever seen! But what about the art films I actually like? Let me tell you about a favorite of mine, 1943's Meshes of the Afternoon!
