Backyard Pine Tree Removal 1 - Learning to Use the Backhoe Loader

After removing 5 trees without a backhoe and recently purchasing one, it doesn't take long to fall in love. This is a tremendous time and energy saver in comparison to hauling and stacking limbs by hand. I'm still getting used to the controls, but so far so good!

This video series is showing what's involved with removing 3 trees that were within 3' of my house. I'm not a professional arborist. I do not own any rigging or climbing equipment. I do not own a bucket truck or crane. I'm just a guy with a chainsaw, some steel cable, and common sense. This leaves me with only one method for getting those trees out of the way: to do them one by one, opening up space for the next, until I have enough space to fell the last one.
