Ashava's Poison Breath Druid - Pit 80 - D4 PTR Season 8

The new season exclusive Boss powers are amazing. So I decided to test the Ashava's Poison Breath in this pit 80 with my favorite class, Druid, coated with the yet buffed Grizzly Rage in the previous season (but still underrated).

We utilize our gear and skills to benefit as much as possible the boss power Ashava's Poison Breath which deals poison damage over time.

Gear:
- Helm: Heir of Perdition is an amazing 60% damage multiplier
- Chest: Shroud of False Death for +1 all passives, stats and huge max health
- Gloves: Dire Wolf aspect turns Grizzly Rage into a werewolf skill which is our main form
- Pants: Aspect of Might for damage reduction when using a basic skill
- Boots: Aspect of Dark Howl turns Debilitating Roar into a werewolf skill, giving us huge damage reduction and 15% damage multiplier. Also it immobilizes poisoned enemies which contributes which contributes to the Aspect of creeping death's damage boost.
- Weapon: Shattered Vow grants Berserking most of the time, increases DoT duration and amount. Its unique aspect also executes enemies which saves us a lot of time instead of waiting for the DoT to kill them
- Amulet: Aspect of Rabid Bear for huge poison damage multiplier during Grizzly Rage
- Ring 1: Ring of Starless Skies for attack speed, LHC and x50% damage boost
- Ring 2: Aspect of Creeping Death. Through the fight, we're applying 2 different crowd controls: Slow from poison and Immobilizing from Dark Howl's Debilitating Roar. This aspect also is excellent at Bossing and against unstoppable enemies.
Another option is Aspect of Changeling Debt but this is a poor choice against boss.

Boss Powers:
- Main: Ashava's Poison Breath, our main damage
Modifiers:
- Andariel's Flaming Skull: up to 40% DoT damage boost
- Avarice's Explosive Ore: Big damage boost to our main boss power, that's why we stack a lot of spirit. Also each breath from the main boss power drains some spirits which triggers Ring of Starless Skies and benefit the use of Ancestral Guidance node.
The last modifier is optional
- If you feel survivability is not a problem, use Sinerat's Flames
- Use Blackmailer's Sabotage for tankier but losing some dps

Paragons/Glyphs:
- Start/Keeper
- Heightened Malice/Fang and Claw
- Ancestral Guidance/Bane
- Inner Beast/Tracker: quickly reduce our ultimate cooldown
- Lust for Carnage/Headhunter: We don't take the legendary node because it doesn't benefit the poison damage. But some + max spirit, health and attack speed nodes are good.

Skills:
- We equip 2 basic attacks on our skill bar, Claw and Maul to trigger the Quickshift passive before activating Grizzly Rage.
- Raging Shred is a big poison damage multiplier, we use this skill most of the time and alternate Claw for resource refill and Aspect of Might for damage reduction.
- Earthen Bulwark: We use Que rune to gain barrier and Unstoppable, so no need to equip this on skill bar.
- Debilitating Roar: Damage reduction and damage boost.
- Blood Howl: Attack speed boost and health restoration.
- Grizzly Rage: Big damage multiplier via the skill itself and Aspect of Rabid Bear; our main source of Fortify.
- Key passive: there's only 1 choice, Bestial Rampage
The rest of our small passives is to increase DPS and defense.

Boons:
- Gift of the Stag: more spirit, more poison damage
- Iron Feather: more health; Swooping Attacks for attack speed
- Energize for quickly generate max spirit or Bolster for increased Grizzly Rage duration
- Masochistic: Heal when critical strikes. Despite our damage is poison, we still have high crit chance from Heir of Perdition and Ring of Starless Skies which will trigger the healing more often.

Skill Rotation:
Preparation: Stack 6 Quickshift and activate Bestial Rampage by alternating between Claw and Maul.

- Activate Grizzly Rage
- Shred enemies; Claw for spirit generation

Use Blood Howl for healing and increased attack speed.
Use Debilitating Roar when in dangerous situations.
