Brioche Bun Recipe
2 tsp dry yeast
270 ml of milk
800 ml flour
1 egg
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
3 tbsp soften butter
To golden; 1 egg
Instructions:
1. Put dry yeast in a bowl and add a tbsp of warm water. Leave it to rest for 10 mins at room temperature.
2. Add milk, flour, egg, sugar, and salt. Knead for 10 minutes
3. Add softened butter and knead for 10 mins
4. Cover with tablecloth and leave to rest for 2 hours at room temperature.
5. Remove the tablecloth and wrap the bowl with plastic wrap. Refrigerate for 12 hours.
6. Degas by applying some pressure on ut and take the air out.
7. Make ball weighing 4 ounces (115grams)
8. Put the balls in a greased mold. Put the mould in a warm place and leave to swell for 2 hours.
9. Preheat the oven 320°F ( 160°C). Add a small container with some water in teh oven.
10. Once swollen, brush the dough with the beaten egg.
11. Bake for 25 mins at 320°F.
