I set out with a simple dream: recreate my beloved Gretsch Catalina Club drum kit inside a virtual instrument. Sounds easy, right?

Well… welcome to plugin hell. 🔥
Between EZDrummer 3, Addictive Drums 2, and BFD 3.5, I thought I’d piece together my perfect kit.

🛑 But here’s the catch — you need a mountain of expansion packs just to get the right shells, snares, cymbals, and vibe. And to make things worse... BFD 3.5 won’t even download.

I bought it. I paid for it. It doesn’t work. 😡
Why is this so hard?
