Chandrayaan 2 Lander was going to land on the surface of the moon on 7th September 2019 but unfortunately, the attempt to land the Vikram lander on the moon was not successful. the Vikram lander works very efficiently and properly until the altitude of 2.1 kilometers above the surface of the moon. the soft landing was started at an altitude of 35 kilometers, here isro started the first phase of the descent called the rough braking phase. next phase was the absolute navigation and altitude control. during this rough braking phase the Vikram lander will reduce the maximum of its speed of descent, and this phase velocity reduction is the real fruitful thing we can achieve for the success of this mission. the phase works well and we reduced the velocity of the lander according to their plan. lander was going well down on the surface. the velocity was reduced to the 200 meters per second from thousands of meters per second, this was the huge achievement of isro. next phase is started and ends in 38 seconds and then the next fine braking phase started to make the velocity of the lander equal to zero. at the end of this phase when the lander was at an altitude of 2.1 kilometers, the connection of the lander to the deep space network was lost due to some technical errors. isro is still working on the data to figure out what was happened upon the moon to the Vikram lander. chandrayaan 2 mission is the ambitious mission of the new India and this is not the total failure of the chandrayaan 2 mission. if the lander got failed the 95% of the mission in the form of the chandrayaan-2 orbiter is still working well in the orbit of the moon. so we got a success 95% in this mission if the lander not gets revived. what are the main causes of the lander to fail? here in this video, we will discuss the possible causes related to the failure of the chandrayaan 2 landers called Vikram lander. and what's next
