We have had requests for this before. As we have been digging through the Russian recording archives it seemed like a good opportunity to do it. The Golovanov "Pathétique" has been often referred to as the most passionate performance on record. It is definitely like the symphony on steroids; nothing is held back, everything is full out in terms of expression.
