Have you ever want to experience an island getaway? Did you know that the state of Georgia has a few islands? My family and I visited Jekyll Island. It was so fun.

We stayed at the Courtyard. This hotel did not have free breakfast but you can order it from the cafe. This hotel is attached to the Residence Inn that does offer guests free breakfast.

Things to know:
All the hotels charge an amenity tax and a daily destination fee, it was charged daily but this hotel offered perks such as bike rides, towels, free shuttles, and other perks that come with the fee. We also got a wine and snack credit each day, like $10 for wine and $10 for snacks.

Parking on the island is charged daily, $3 per car.
There is no fast food, only restaurants
This hotel did not have valet but parking at the hotel was free

There is a town like 10 minutes away, once you cross the bridge, it has food and local shopping. For example box stores and chains.
