Driving in San Francisco - Golden Gate Bridge Both Ways (Sept. 23, 2020)

Drive northbound across the Golden Gate Bridge, turning around in the Vista Point at the north end, then taking the bridge back toward San Francisco.

The Golden Gate Bridge is one of the most internationally recognized symbols of San Francisco and California. It was designed in 1917 by Joseph Strauss and opened to the public in 1937. The main span is 4200 feet (1,280m) and the bridge has a total height of 746 feet (227m). The toll for a car is $8.35 as of July 1, 2019.
