EcoLabels: Why They Fail Developing Nation Fisheries.
EcoLabels use market leverage to support sustainable fisheries, but the programs are costly and complex. As a result, large scale fisheries which are already sustainably managed can support them ... and most small scale fisheries that need management help cannot. It's a broken system that the Global Sustainable Seafood Initiative is trying to address.
