Peter Sarstedt - Frozen Orange Juice

Peter Eardley Sarstedt (born 10 December 1941) is an Indian-born British singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who has recorded a number of well-known and successful albums and singles since the 1960s. Although his music is classified as pop, it generally encompasses more traditional folk ballads rather than standard pop music. Sarstedt is best known for his 1969 UK number one hit "Where Do You Go To (My Lovely)?", a portrait of a poor-born girl who becomes a member of the European jet-set. The song topped the chart in 14 countries and was awarded the 1969 Ivor Novello Award (together with David Bowie's "Space Oddity"). Other Sarstedt songs include "Beirut", "Take Off Your Clothes", "I Am a Cathedral" and this track "Frozen Orange Juice" (UK No. 10 in 1969).
