Depending on how much you want to save, I used 128 envelopes to help me save over $5000.

You'll want to fill two envelopes per week. You decide which two. I usually did a lower number and a higher number.

SAVINGS METHOD

With the Blue envelopes you enter money bi-weekly so you only put money into the blue envelopes 26 times. The amounts start off with each pay period

The First set of envelopes are labeled $1-102 the goal is to complete this by the end of the year. You can save money by filling anywhere from two or more envelopes a week. By the end of the year you’ll have saved over $5,000. Even if you aren't able to complete the full amount, you'll still have money saved.
Or you could do the first 52 envelopes only and complete one envelope a week and by the end of the year you’ll have saved $1,378.
