Lenovo laptop battery rebuild. How to replace laptop 18650 lithium cells

How to replace laptop 18650 lithium cells and increase capacity and laptop runtime. My laptop battery only lasted less than 90 minutes. A new original Lenovo battery was out of the question. It is just too expensive for this old machine. The choice was:
1. Buy a generic battery of unknown cell quality.
2. Buy an original Lenovo battery second hand.
3. Rebuild my laptop battery by changing the 18650 lithium-ion cells inside.

Timestamps
- Opening up the battery 00:30
- Drawing a diagram or schematic of the battery wiring 00:45
- Pre-tinning and preparing the 18650 cells for soldering 01:14
- Soldering the batteries together into a pack 01:48
- Testing battery voltage of the rebuilt pack 03:48
- Desoldering the BMS (battery management system) from the old original laptop cells 03:50
- Soldering the battery pack onto the BMS 04:02
- Restarting the BMS by bridging the positive end of the battery pack to the positive terminal of the BMS 04:28 (see this video for more details)
- The tested total capacity of the battery pack in mAh 05:05
- Inserting the rebuilt battery into laptop 05:40
- Results 1 Day later after total discharge of the rebuilt battery 06:30

Things used:
- 6 18650 cells for the rebuild. I luckily found mine from a Samsung battery that was to be recycled by a laptop shop. You can buy this type of batteries brand new as well.
- Nickel strips to join the batteries.
- wires/cables for wiring
- basic tools, screwdrivers etc
- Solder and a soldering iron with the biggest tip you have. I set mine to 400 C to get the job done fast.
- Soldering flux
