FINALLY A NEW ZELDA GAME LETS GO
Though, If I'm being honest here, I still haven't finished Breath of the Wild AHHHHHH
I recently finally got to really sit down and play the game because of Tears of the KIngdom coming out and it has been so much fun. I should have gotten to it long ago! I've only ever seen friends play it so being able to actually play it for myself has been an experience. I REALLY CAN'T WAIT TO GET TO TEARS OF THE KINGDOM NOW LMAOOOOOOO

Anyways!!!
Nintendo also has some killer soundtracks for their Zelda Trailers and this one is a BANGER!
I honestly didn't expect them to add in a Sax and Erhu in this song! They both fit in a cool way and I hope I did the original arrangement justice! Oh also, I took the main theme song and mixed it with the 3rd trailer song to create an extended Main Theme arrangement and I think it turned out perfectly!

For this remix, I used quite a bit of new plugins that I forgot to install! Since I recently upgraded my Komplete collection from Native Instruments, I've been really excited to try out all these new instruments! In this song, I used new Strings, Horns, and Pads! I also picked up the East Asia collection for the Erhu violin part in the beginning and the Guzheng part at the end!
During the drop section, I wanted to experiment more with making a house drop with a focus on making sure my low end sounded good. I've finally started to customize my drum samples a bit more by changing up the transient (the attack) of the kick by keeping it separate from the low end of the kick. I honestly can't believe I haven't been doing this yet because this makes it so that my drums will always pierce the mix!! Being able to always have a reliable start to my drums has made things so much easier!

In the end, I am immensely proud of how this project turned out and I hope you guys like it too! It has been some time since I made a Zelda remix and I am super excited to be back!
