Many people are unknowingly following a "false Jesus" who encourages you to do whatever you want without consequence. We were warned about this false Christ by Jesus himself who said that in the last days there would be those who are pretending to be Him: "For many will come in My name, claiming, 'I am the Christ,' and will deceive many" (Matthew 24:5, Mark 13:3-6, Luke 21:8).
