Amazon Echo Dot (Gen2) Review & Use Outside the U.S. (A Canadian Review)

This is a review of the Amazon Echo Dot - Specifically on how to use it in Canada. For now, this product is only available in the U.S., U.K and Germany. BUT! the Echo can be used in CANADA and other countries.
This video will explain how the Echo Dot works and how it can be used outside those countries where it is currently available.

What you can do
You can link a Spotify account and TuneIn Radio to the Dot. You can also control Hue lights, Lutron Caseta switches, Wemo switches and Ecobee thermostats through Alexa. It will also work with most skills like storytelling, jokes and utilities like measurement conversions. Weather will work if you use a specific location.

- You will need a U.S. iTunes account to download the Amazon Alexa APP - DISCLAIMER for APPLE MUSIC users - signing on to a U.S. iTunes account will delete the music from your device because you have to turn off iCloud. However, you can access the Echo through the website at http://alexa.amazon.com.

What the Echo Dot can't do in Canada
- You can't use Amazon Music (unless you subscribe to a U.S. Amazon Prime account
- You can't order items through the Dot in Canada
- Weather and news are American based
