The Boston Celtics lost Gordon Hayward to the Charlotte Hornets, but they have signed Tristan Thompson of the Cleveland Cavaliers as their next big man. The Boston Celtics traded away Vincent Poirier and Enes Kanter, but the Celtics have no signed Tristan Thompson to replace both of them to a two-year, $19 million deal. Tristan Thompson improves the Celtics’ frontcourt.

The Boston Celtics signed Jeff Teague to replace Brad Wanamaker as a back-up point guard. Jeff Teague spent last season with the Atlanta Hawks, but now Teague will become the Celtics primary back-up point guard behind Kemba Walker.
