This interview between Ayn Rand and Phil Donahue starts off casually, giving us a glimpse of Rand's charm. She states that the typical American man represses his feelings which Rand calls a "weakness." She criticizes Jimmy Carter and reveals her fondness for the TV show "Charlie's Angels." She also explains why she is in the camp of Aristotle rather than Plato.

Today The Atlas Society promotes and further develops the philosophy of Objectivism which Ayn Rand founded.
