On the diplomatic front
The ambassador-designates of nine nations presented their credentials to President Yoon Suk Yeol in a ceremony on Friday.
This includes Jacques Flies from Luxembourg, and Georgiy Zinoviev from the Russian Federation, a career diplomat who has a background in China and Asia affairs.
Jeffrey David Robinson from Australia also presented his credentials along with Marek Repovský from the Slovak Republic and Vu Ho from Vietnam.
