Job Summary
Our client a well reputed Financial Organization in K.S.A / Riyadh is seeking a highly capable Project Manager with proven experience in the Saudi brokerage or financial services industry, particularly in Waterfall and Agile project implementations. The ideal candidate will also possess hands-on experience as a Scrum Master, with a working knowledge of the Spotify Agile model, and hand-on experience in Waterfall delivery. and a deep understanding of PMO operations including capacity planning and demand management. This role requires a strategic thinker and a collaborative leader capable of aligning delivery practices with business goals and regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery In waterfall
- Lead large-scale, cross-functional projects using both Waterfall and Agile (Spotify) methodologies.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
- Ensure delivery of business and technical outcomes in line with strategic objectives.
- Coordinate with brokerage and financial domain stakeholders to tailor implementations to local regulatory and operational needs.
Project Delivery in Agile
- Facilitate agile ceremonies: sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
- Mentor teams on Agile practices and remove delivery impediments.
- Promote continuous improvement and team autonomy using Spotify agile principles (e.g., squads, chapters, tribes).
PMO Support
- Support capacity planning, resource forecasting, and demand management across the project portfolio.
- Collaborate with PMO leadership on governance practices, standards, and KPI tracking.
- Assist in portfolio prioritization and alignment with corporate strategy.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Serve as the primary liaison between business units, development teams, and external vendors.
- Ensure transparency through regular reporting of project progress, risks, and outcomes.
- Drive stakeholder alignment through proactive communication and collaborative problem-solving.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or related discipline.
- 8+ years of experience in IT project/program management with at least 3 years in Saudi Arabia’s financial or brokerage industry.
- Demonstrated experience delivering Waterfall projects in regulated environments.
- Proven track record as a Scrum Master; Spotify model experience preferred.
- Experience working in or supporting a Project Management Office (PMO).
- PMP, CSM/PSM, or equivalent certifications required.
- Knowledge of tools like JIRA, MS Project, and portfolio reporting dashboards.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong grasp of project governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously and influence without authority.
- Familiarity with Saudi Capital Market Authority (CMA) regulations and brokerage platforms is an advantage.
- Bilingual (Arabic & English) preferred.
