On the Ground at the Thousand Hills Farm | Regenerative Farming & Conservation in Action

Thousand Hills welcomed Target team members to the farm for an immersive day exploring regenerative agriculture in action.

The experience began with a guided farm tour led by Matt Maier, where attendees learned how regenerative grazing practices improve soil health, support animal well-being, and restore ecosystems.

Guests then joined a walking tour with Anthony Hauck and Sarah Hewitt of the National Audubon Society, gaining insight into how regenerative farming supports bird habitats, biodiversity, and long-term environmental health.

The day wrapped up with a shared lunch and Q&A session, creating space for open conversation and deeper understanding of how businesses and agriculture can work together to drive meaningful change.
