DIY | HOW TO | PAINT LEATHER | KATE SPADE WELLESLEY | PLANNER
Sorry for the bad video editing/filming. This was so hard to get shots of without the proper video equipment.
First i used Angelus leather paint

first prime your planner with the proper product, Angelus sells some great primers/cleaners.
When you are ready to paint your planner take your paint and do 2-3 thin coats, make sure to wait 15-30mins in between each coat to make sure it has time to fully dry.
This is the SMALL brush i used for around the KATE SPADE NEW YORK lettering:

you can use a heat gun to speed up the drying process but make sure to not put the heat directly onto the planner otherwise bubbling may occur. Let completely cool before starting the next layer.

**I know some people would NEVER do this to their planners. But
A) I was a major art kid throughout school so i feel comfortable dabbling in these mediums.
B) I got my rose golds for an amazing price before KS raised their planner prices ($60 with coupons each).
So please, for the sake of being positive, keep and rude or un-needed comments to your self. I made this video to try to help anyone who was interested in doing this to one of their own.
